Position Overview:

ACRES is currently hiring a Part-Time Apprentice Learning Guide for immediate hire. This position is ideal for an innovative, self-motivated individual with strong organizational skills and positive classroom management abilities. The successful candidate will collaborate to implement the school's vision, lead small group instruction, and facilitate project-based learning experiences. This position includes unique professional development opportunities with leadership development and an accelerated pathway to promotion.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborative Vision Building: Work closely with the school leader to contribute to the development and implementation of the school's vision, aligning with the institution's values and goals.

• Small Group Instruction: Lead and support small group instruction sessions on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, tailoring teaching methods to meet the diverse learning needs of students in the K-4 grade range.

• Project-Based Learning: Assist in the facilitation and implementation of project-based learning initiatives, encouraging students to engage in hands-on, inquiry-based activities that promote critical thinking and creativity.

• Positive Classroom Management: Demonstrate strong classroom management skills, creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.

• Leadership Development: Actively participate in leadership development programs and opportunities, showcasing a commitment to personal and professional growth.

• Organization: Demonstrate strong organizational skills to effectively manage the responsibilities of a part-time position.
   

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field. (teaching certification not required)

• Demonstrated experience working with students in the K-4 grade range.

• Creative thinker and problem solver with a passion for innovative teaching methods.

• Self-motivated and committed to lifelong learning.

• Strong organizational skills and positive classroom management abilities.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
